Hafez Ibrahim Nosair
MR. HAFEZ IBRAHIM NOSAIR is the Managing Director of CEIL SDN BHD. He joined the company in 2010, bringing with him the Nosair family name, one of the oldest in the Middle East, known for their business acumen and strong family ties in the commercial sector.
A personality with diverse academic qualifications, he has a Diploma in Building Engineering from Zagazig University and a Degree in Accountancy from Tanta University, Egypt. He went on to pursue a professional qualification from the American University in Cairo in Forex Management.
In 1989 he began a career in Forex trading in a renowned financial establishment in Egypt before venturing into his own construction business in Beirut, Lebanon and Amman, Jordan. During the 1993 Mid-East peace talks between Palestine and Israel, the area went through an economic depression and he was forced to sell his business and returned to Egypt.
Whilst managing a Forex trading consultancy in Egypt, he carried out a feasibility study on establishing business ventures in the South East Asian region, specifically Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei and Indonesia. In 1994, he was instrumental in bringing the Egyptian commercial trading establishment to Malaysia and succeeded in executing exhibitions for the promotion of business opportunities in this region. These exhibitions were held in PWTC Kuala Lumpur, Ipoh and Kota Kinabalu.
This led him to head the wholesale import subsidiary of a well known second-board public listed company, specializing in agricultural products from Egypt, Pakistan, India, China and South Africa in the year 2000. This company supplied major retail outlets such as TOPS, GIANT, SENYUM (MALACCA), Carrefour, BIG A and wholesale suppliers in Kuala Lumpur and Klang.
In 2008, he served as the Head of Oil and Gas for Arabian Bridge Co Ltd, an established company of diverse capacity, based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and Tokyo, Japan. While there, he led the successful negotiations for the JV between Arabian Bridge Co Ltd with the Royal Emirates group of companies. He has in his network, major Russian oil companies such as Gazprom, Gazpomneft Trading, Lukoil, Bashneft, and Tatneft with whom he has executive connections. He also has commercial relationships with Sinopec, United China and Beijing Oil in China.
These connections in his network and his diverse experience in business and financial management is expected to spearhead CEIL SDN BHD. into a new revival, with emphasis in oil and oil derivative trading and other petroleum related ventures.
